Two years after her daughter Christina‘s tragic and sudden death, Tina Grimmie has died of breast cancer. “We are saddened to announce the loss of our beloved Tina, also affectionately known as ‘Mama Grimmie’ to the millions of fans of Christina Grimmie around the world. She will be missed immensely,” the Grimmie family said in a statement shared on social media Sunday. “Tina fought a courageous and brave battle with cancer for many years, even until her final hours with family by her side,” the statement continued.

Tourists enjoying a dip off the south coast of France last weekend had their calm afternoon shattered when a shark snuck up to within yards of them, triggering a full-scale evacuation.  Footage revealed the moment a collective gasp swept through the crowd as a seven-foot shark was spotted approaching the shoreline on the outskirts of Perpignan.  Swimmers were seen scrambling out of the water as those already on the sand hot-footed it away from the shore as a dorsal fin rose out of the water and headed for the beach.
