Sean O’Hair is an American professional golfer who has a net worth of $12 million. He was born in Lubbock, Texas in 1982 and attended Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona, and the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Florida. His father sold his share of the family business for $2.75 million to develop Sean into a touring pro.
During his early career, O’Hair entered PGA Tour Qualifying School regularly, but was unsuccessful at his first five attempts. He played on several developmental tours such as the Nationwide Tour, Gateway Tour, and Cleveland Golf Pro Tour with limited success. However, he completed all three stages of PGA Tour Qualifying School in 2004.
In 2005, O’Hair won his maiden PGA Tour event at the John Deere Classic and finished second at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship. He won the PODS Championship in 2008 and had a successful season in 2009, finishing in the top 10 at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. As of the 2001 season, he is 43rd on the FedEx Cup list and 60th in the world’s top 100.
O’Hair has been married to his wife Jackie since 2002 and they have four children. The family currently resides in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
